Novel Tricyclic Diterpenoids from Euphorbia micractina

Abstract

From the Me(2)CO extract of the whole plant of Euphorbia micractina, four new diterpenoids with a novel carbon skeleton, euphactins A-D [1-4], have been isolated. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 2D nmr techniques and X-ray crystallographic analysis.
