Bone Marrow Distribution as a Factor in Estimating Radiation to the Blood-Forming Organs.

Abstract

Information on bone marrow distribution is collected and collated. The variation in active marrow distribution with age is considered, together with assumptions that this extension introduces. Distributions that have been adopted to weight estimated radiation doses to the marrow are compared.
