The relationship between hospital volume and outcome of gastrointestinal cancer surgery in Korea

Abstract

High-volume hospitals had better short-term surgical outcome than low-volume hospitals. We confirmed the volume-outcome relationship for four cancer-related gastrointestinal resections in Korea.
