Symmetries of nonlinear differential equations and linearisation

Abstract

A non-linear ordinary differential equation is linearisable if it possesses SL(3, R) symmetry. The conditions under which the Abelian two-dimensional subalgebras of sl(3, R) are sufficient for linearisation are established.
