Cataract and Diabetes

Abstract

Review of the literature reveals much confusion over the relation between cataract and diabetes in the older age-groups. Table Surveys of patients who have had a cataract extracted have, on the other hand, shown an overall proportion of diabetics that is higher than any reported percentage in a general population.
