Ieasurements of the disk temperature of Jupiter at eight frequencies spanning the range 20.5-35.5 GHz are presented. The absolute accuracies are 5 percent (2 a). The calibration of the receiving system is discussed. The measurements are compared with model calculations in which saturated ammonia is the source of emission in the Jovian atmosphere. Agreement is quite good both in terms of the suggested dip in the observed data corresponding to the center of the 1.25-cm ammonia band and in terms of the absolute intensities.
