Pseudo spin-orbit potential in relativistic self-consistent models

Abstract

The properties of the pseudo spin-orbit potential, in particular those related to its singularity structure, are investigated in the relativistic Hartree formalism. The validity of sufficient conditions for the pseudospin symmetry are also analyzed. We have found a strong influence of the scalar meson mass and the compressibility modulus on the single-particle energy level ordering of the pseudospin doublet.
