The incidence of metastases in adrenal glands and ovaries removed for carcinoma of the breast

Abstract

HERE ARE very few accounts of the fre-T, uency of metastases from carcinoma of the breast to the adrenals and ovaries. In view of the increasing number of cases in which adrenalectomy and ovariectomy are used therapeutically, it seems important to record this incidence in a series of 235 cases of bilateral adrenalectomy and 190 cases of ovariectomy.
