Laser separation of highly enriched¹⁶⁸Yb in weighable quantities

Abstract

A system capable of producing highly enriched 168Yb on an industrial scale was constructed. The 168Yb abundance reached 80–95% in the laser plasma and up to 65% in the ion collector.
