Abstract

Although urine leaks are common after renal transplantation, these are usually obvious as external leakage through the surgical wound or drain or as the development of an extraperitoneal urinoma. A communication, with urine leakage, from a transplanted urinary tract to the peritoneal cavity is very uncommon. This case demonstrates the value of radionuclide renal imaging in demonstrating such an abnormality.
