A Padé approximant is used to extrapolate to high charge strength the series expansion in charge strength of the internal and free energies of a system of charged spheres. The numerical results for the internal-energy approximant are in excellent agreement with the Monte Carlo results of Larsen, especially at higher densities. The study indicates that the Padé approach is a promising method of treating the thermodynamics of more realistic fused-salt models.
