Abstract A simple, rapid, and validated HPLC method has been developed for determination of flunarizine dihydrochloride in the tablet preparations. A LiChrospher 100 RP‐18 column was used with a mobile phase consisting of methanol–ion pair solution, 8 + 2, v/v. Quantitative evaluation was performed at 254 nm. The HPLC method is selective, precise, and accurate and can be used for routine analysis of the tablet preparations in pharmaceutical industry quality control laboratories.
