We report a result of Monte Carlo simulation for the Brownian motion of thin rodlike polymers in concentrated solution. It is found that: (i) the rotational motion is a diffusion process characterized by an effective diffusion constant D r ; (ii) at high concentration, D r is proportional to c -2 ( c being the number density of the polymer). This result is in agreement with the tube theory and is consistent with the experimental results of electric birefringence and dynamic light scattering.
