The 27th annual edition of this book consists of 20 articles published in 1993 and reprinted from the following journals:<i>Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychological Bulletin, American Psychologist, American Journal of Psychiatry</i>, and<i>Pediatrics</i>.
