Lack of Circadian Periodicity of Human Serum FSH and LH Levels

Abstract

No circadian or ultradian periodicity of serum LH and FSH levels was discerned in 4 male subjects studied half-hourly to hourly over a 48-hr period, although intermittent non-concordant elevations in the level of both hormones noted. These subjects manifested a normal reproducible periodicity of plasma cortisol and growth hormone levels.
