Since the half-life of 99mTc is only 6.04 hr, its massive dosing for an elevation of diagnostic accuracy is possible with reduced radiation exposure to the body. On 11 impotent cases, radioisotope penogram was performed with 99mTcO4. The results indicate that the penogram curves obtained are satisfactorily favorable for diagnostic discrimination between organic impotence and functional impotence.
