Abstract

Secondary symptoms (pain and weakness) were inversely associated with the presence of median nerve compression. Furthermore, primary symptoms (paresthesia, disability and nocturnal symptom) occurred similarly in patients with and without electrophysiologic findings of median nerve compression at the wrist.
