Primary Biliary Cirrhosis is More Severe in Overweight Patients

Abstract

NASH and BMI ≥ 25 are associated with severe biliary duct damage and fibrosis in patients with PBC. BMI could become a useful noninvasive tool to predict advanced fibrosis in PBC.
