Abstract

Suppose that a group <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> G G </inline-formula> has a normal subgroup <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> C C </inline-formula> where <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> C C </inline-formula> and <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> G / C G/C </inline-formula> are cyclic of relatively prime orders. Then any torsion unit in <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> Z G ZG </inline-formula> is rationally conjugate to a trivial unit.
