Leishmanicidal Effect of Curcumin in Vitro.

Abstract

From a study to find anti-parasitic agents from natural resources, we found that curcumin showed the cytotoxicity against leishmania in vitro. The LD50 value of this activity was 37.6+/-3.5 microM.
