Abstract

state that egg-white gave adequate growth in rats, provided that a sufficient quantity was given, e.g. 18 % of the total diet. Bond [1922] also obtained excellent growth in rats on a diet in which egg-white formed 20 % of the total diet, and was the sole source of protein.
