Precise Measurement of Neutron-Proton Total Cross Section from 25 to 60 MeV

The neutron-proton total cross section has been measured to better than 1% in the energy range 25-60 MeV. The results agree with data at lower energies but are several percent higher than both previous measurements and current phase-shift predictions in this energy range.
