A new case of Robinow dwarfing syndrome occurred in a 3-year-old white boy. The patient had most of the typical anomalies of the syndrome but, in addition, had pronounced anomalies of the vertebral column and penile agenesis. The development of these anomalies is discussed in relation to embryogenesis, and a short list of applicable experimental etiological factors is offered.
