Abstract

Mice subjected to ozone in one-half of a test cage show a decreased activity and an avoidance reaction similar to that seen with radiation. With ozone alone, the reaction is elicited only when the environmental concentrations are several times as great as those produced by an effective x ray beam. No change in the radiation avoidance reaction is observed when the oxygen concentration in the cage is raised to 95%. (auth)
