<i>PVT</i> Data for Water in the Ranges 20 to 600°C and 100 to 4000 bar

Abstract

Abstract PVT data for pure water have been measured between 20°C. and 600°C. for pressures between 100 and 4000 bar using an internally healed pressure vessel. The accuracy of the measured specific volumes is 0.2 percent or better. The volume isotherms were fitted by the Tait equation with an average absolute deviation of the experimental points from the smoothed curves of 0.02% below and of 0.05% above 200°C.
