Muscle Pain Intensity and Pressure Pain Threshold Changes in Different Periods of Stroke Patients

Abstract

In stroke patients, spontaneous muscle pain in the hemiparetic side is a common finding. Bilaterally symmetric changes of pressure pain threshold are probably caused by central sensitization mechanisms.
