Abstract

The enhanced recovery provided by hypothermia and the detrimental effect by hyperthermia were robustly detected by early quantitative electroencephalographic markers. IQ values during the first 2 hrs after cardiac arrest accurately predicted neurologic outcome at 72 hrs.
