Adolescents’ inhaled corticosteroid adherence: the importance of treatment perceptions and medication knowledge

Abstract

Our results suggest that by improving knowledge about asthma treatments and stimulating positive perceptions towards medicines, especially regarding the necessity of medication use, better adherence rates might be achieved.
