Absoulute specific-heat measurements are presented for the solid phase and upper limit of 0.2${\mathrm{k}}_{\mathrm{B}}$ per particle is established for the change in entropy on melting. The results support the dislocation-pair--unbinding model of Kosterlitz and Thouless.
