Abstract

We study the equilibrium behavior in a dilute system of classical Heisenberg spins coupled via the Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yoshida interaction using a hybrid Monte Carlo spin-dynamics method. We find that, even when anisotropy is absent, the system exhibits a spin-glass phase transition at a finite temperature, contrary to previous predictions.
