A Compound Printed Air-Fed Array Antenna

Abstract

After a brief review on reflectarray, transmitarray, and Fabry-Perot resonator antennas summarized as a family of printed air-fed array antennas, a novel compound structure is proposed. Its design flowchart is expressed step by step. Some designed samples are described with optimized performance of directivity or frequency bandwidth.
