Abstract

A case of presumed subretinal bot fly larva infestation is presented with photographs of the clinical course and its eventual destruction by photocoagulation. Without knowledge of the clinical course and the presence of the dead larva, the resultant macular lesion might be mistaken for a degenerative scar.
