Abstract

A new class of palladium pincer complexes bearing m -terphenyl scaffolds have been synthesized and structurally characterized. As a result of integrating phenyl rings into the chelating arms of m -xylyl type pincer ligands, highly twisted and rigid structures have been achieved.
