Oxidative stress-related parameters in prostate of rats with experimental autoimmune prostatitis

Abstract

The results suggest that in EAP, a marked diminution of catalase activity associated with an enhanced oxidative metabolism of inflammatory macrophages might lead to oxidative damage in this autoimmune disease.
