Two-pulse stimulated echo in ferromagnetic metals

Abstract

Nuclear magnetic resonance echo studies are reported for powdered samples of enriched and unenriched Fe57Fe, Ni61Ni, and Fe51V. It is shown that the echo profile calculated for “broad” line excitation incorporating an exponential distribution for the enhancement factors is in excellent agreement with the observed profiles. Also the observation of a stimulated two pulse echo for these systems is reported for the first time. Es werden magnetische Kernresonanz-Echo-Untersuchungen an angereicherten und unangereicherten Fe57Fe-, Ni61Ni- und Fe51V-Pulverproben durchgeführt. Berechnete Echoprofile für „breite”︁ Linienanregung, eine exponentielle Verteilung der „enhancement factor”︁ eingeschlossen, zeigen eine ausgezeichnete Übereinstimmung mit den beobachteten Linienformen. Zum erstenmal wird über die Beobachtung von stimulierten Zwei-Puls-Echos an diesen Systemen berichtet.
