Properties of Crystallized Rabbit Anti-p-Azobenzoate Antibody

Abstract

Specifically purified anti-p-azobenzoate antibody, prepared from the serum of an individual rabbit, crystallized spontaneously from cold neutral buffer solution at a concentration of 60 mg/ml. The protein redissolved at 37° and recrystallized at 5° at much lower concentrations. Some of the properties of the crystallized antibody are described here.
