Atomic displacements close to hydrogen in Nb, Ta and V

Abstract

From X-ray measurements of the attenuation of integrated Bragg intensities due to H in Nb, Ta and V single crystals the displacement of the lattice atoms closest to H are determined. The experimental values are compared with model calculations using lattice statics.
