Melanin-Laden Macrophages in Cerebrospinal Fluid in Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada Syndrome

Abstract

The identification of melanin-laden macrophages in the CSF of patients with VKH syndrome suggests that these cells are responsible for pleocytosis in the immunopathologic process of VKH syndrome.
