Abstract

Abstract. Agglutinins from the seeds of various Salvia species were studied. Useful Tn‐specific agglutinins can be prepared from Salvia sclarea and Salvia haematodes. Extracts of the seeds of Salvia farinacea and Salvia horminum contain separable anti‐Tn and anti‐Cad agglutinins. These agglutinins are of potential value in the study of erythrocyte polyagglutination.
