Abstract

Abstract A new dinuclear copper(I) complex containing two 2,9-dimethylphenanthroline ligands and a bridging diphosphine ligand has been prepared. The structure of the complex was characterized by X-ray crystallography. A considerable blue shift was observed for the solid-state photoluminescence and absorption spectra of the complex as compared with the mononuclear mixed-ligand complex.
