ABSTRACT Rock wettability may explain some apparent discrepancies that occur in defining water-oil contacts by RFT and logging measurements. Analysing these discrepancies makes it possible to estimate the wettability state of the reservoir. This paper presents the studies carried out on three oil reservoirs in order to check the applicability of this method. The major limitations are identified. All results are confirmed by laboratory wettability tests.
