Corneal Graft Rejection Precipitated by Uveitis Secondary to Alendronate Sodium Therapy

Abstract

We recommend vigilance in corneal transplant patients on simultaneous bisphosphonate therapy. Caution is advised in the extension to human trials of animal studies investigating the use of bisphosphonates in corneal transplantation.
