Full-Wave Analysis of a Modified Coplanar Air Bridge T-Junction

Abstract

A special type of a coplanar T-junction is investigated and compared with the conventional one. Both, measurements and simulated results based on the three-dimensional finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method are used to point out the advantages of the new component and to discuss some rules for circuit design.
