Fully integrated millimetric single-sideband lightwavesource

Abstract

The authors report the first realisation of a fully integrated millimetric single sideband (SSB) lightwave source. The SSB rejection, which is > 10 dB, reduces the periodical signal fading along standard fibre to only 2 dB.
