ABSTRACT: Mycological examination of 104 Egyptian patients showed Trichophyton violaceum to be the most common isolate, followed by Trichophyton schoenleinii, Microsporum canis, Trichophyton verrucosum, Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton rubrum, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
