AbstractPhytochemical investigation on the fruits of Flueggea suffruticosa resulted in the isolation of three new Securinega alkaloids, secu'amamine H (1), 15β-methoxy-14,15-dihydrosecurinine (3), and securinol E (7), as well as eight known ones (2, 4–6, and 8–11). Their structures were elucidated by means of spectroscopic techniques (1D and 2D NMR, MS, UV, and IR). The absolute configurations of the new compounds were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and CD analyses.Keywords:: Flueggea suffruticosaEuphorbiaceaeSecurinega alkaloids AcknowledgmentsThis work was supported financially by the Joint Fund of NSFC-Guangdong Province (No. U0932004), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 81302665), the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University (No. NCET-11-0857), the Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangzhou (No. 2011J2200046), and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (No. 2013M531908).Conflict of interestThere are no conflicts of interest among all authors.Notes1.
