Route to multicluster containing ancillary ortho-carborane-1,2-dithiolato ligands

Abstract

Multicluster molecules [Cp(*)IrS2C2(B10H10)]n(L)[n= 3 (L = tpt), 2 (L = bpy)], connected with pyridyl-based ligands, were prepared and characterized by X-ray crystallography.
