The stability of the Fulde-Ferrel phase is investigated in a simplified modeL It is shown that the Fulde-Ferrel phase reduces by both potential scattering and spin-orbit scattering, and disappears at a critical value of the mean free time ("rp or "t" 80 ), which is about the reciprocal of the BCS energy gap L1 0 As a result, the Fulde-Ferrel phase is excluded in a dirty superconductor such as the high-field superconductor. The possibility of the existence of the Fulde-Ferrel phase in the superconductor with impurity ferromagnetism is briefly discussed.
