An analysis of current–voltage characteristics can be applied for the examination of influence of polymerization conditions and various types of black on the electrical properties of polyester polymer–carbon black compositions. An essential influence of the polymerization conditions on the ohmic or non-ohmic character of IU characteristics, and the influence of unpaired spins concentration on the electrical conductivity of compositions is found. The obtained results confirm that the interaction between carbon black molecules and free macro-radicals of polymer during the polymerization process is a decisive factor conditioning the electrical properties of compositions.
