The Solid-phase Polymerisation of Monomers with Conjugated Acetylenic Groups

Abstract

Published data on the solid-phase topochemical polymerisation of linear and cyclic monomers containing conjugated acetylenic groups are surveyed and the boundary conditions in this process are discussed. The structure of the monomers, is the intramolecular and supermolecular structures of the polymers, and the specific features of their chemical, physicochemical, physicomechanical, and optical properties are examined.
